Rogue-like Death by Scrolling Receives Release Date

Publisher MicroProse and Terrible Toybox studio announced the release date for the rogue-like adventure Death by Scrolling. Vertical scrolling RPG about attempts to trick the death comes to PC on 28 October. However, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Xbox versions will come later, with the exact date to be announced.

Death by Scrolling is a rogue-like action set in the chaotic depth of Purgatory. The players step into afterlife, where their goal is to trick the death itself. While slashing enemies in the dynamic battles, they have to avoid the Grim Reaper and collect gold for the Ferryman’s fee. The game offers four different characters with unique skills and abilities. The main challenge there is the always moving screen, that forces the players to act faster and race with time itself.

Moreover, aside from the battles and action, the game offers a set of quirky side quests and stores system to gain useful items.
