In a stunningly candid Xitter post, Evil Empire has announced that Rogue Prince of Persia is delayed to let the hype around Hades II die down. “Seeing as everyone and their mum is playing that game (including our entire team…and their mums), we have decided to let people have their fun with it before we release The Rogue Prince of Persia,” the post reads. It further states that an announcement will be made in May with a more precise release for RPoP.
If you ask us, it sounds a little “sour grapes”-ish, but it makes sense as both games compete for a similar audience. At any rate, RPoP is coming soon and we’ll keep you posted once the team selects a release date.
