Warhammer 40,000 Rogue Trader Sold Over 2 Million Copies, Physical Release Announced for PS5 and Switch 2

After a short but eventful debacle with the Owlcat Launcher, developer Owlcat Games is back with some pleasant news. According to the team, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader sold over 2 million copies across PC and consoles.

“This is a massive, remarkable milestone that we are eternally grateful to our community for. Without you, this would not be possible. The Emperor protects!”

Additionally, the developers revealed that the game will at long last receive a physical debut in collaboration with Silver Lining, as the Voidfarer Edition launches on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 in October.

Earlier this month, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader received DLC#3: The Infinite Museion and major update 1.6. Much like the previous additions, it features around 15 hours of content, new companion Eogunn Februs, new locations, and a new system: augments.

In the future, Rogue Traders will also venture into the Processional of the Damned. Navigate shifting corridors, avoid ancient traps, and uncover strange truths that defy logic. A new companion joins your crew — someone shaped by this impossible place. This expansion introduces a new story, a mysterious new region, unique enemies and some fresh gameplay mechanics.

The DLC#4 release is expected July to September 2026.
