It’s time to grab your dice and rally the party. Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked, the long-awaited crossover between Resolution Games’ award-winning VR tabletop RPG and the world’s most iconic fantasy franchise, has just dropped its PC-exclusive demo ahead of its November 20 release. The demo is part of Steam Next Fest, which runs through October 20, and stands out among the flood of fresh demos like a crit hit on a goblin.
This marks the first real chance for players to experience the fusion of Demeo’s immersive, tactical dungeon crawling with the officially licensed Dungeons & Dragons universe. The full game launches November 20 across Steam, PlayStation, and Meta Quest, but for now, PC adventurers get to dive into two full scenarios during the festival.
As an added bonus, Resolution Games is giving players who play the demo a special gift. Anyone who completes both demo scenarios will unlock exclusive special skins for their 20-sided dice. It’s the kind of collector’s bonus D&D fans will appreciate, especially given that this is the only officially licensed D&D video game hitting the market in 2025.
Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked builds on the original Demeo’s strengths: turn-based tactical combat, deck-building elements, and cooperative dungeon runs that feel right at home on the tabletop or in VR. The new edition blends that proven formula with D&D’s classic heroes, monsters, and lore, offering a familiar yet fresh experience whether you’re wielding dice or a headset.
Every run changes, keeping each session fresh. With the full release, players will explore Neverwinter Wood, Cragmaw Castle, and more across two campaigns set in the Forgotten Worlds, D&D’s premiere campaign world. Additional DLC adventures are planned post-launch.
If you’ve been waiting to see what happens when two titans of tabletop merge digital realms, now’s your shot. The demo is live on Steam through October 20, and the full launch follows a month later on November 20.
