A free DLC drops today for the grim folk tale Ravenswatch, bringing the Romeo and Juliet to the action.
Fairy tales, folk stories, and literary icons are joined by two lovers today. Shakespearian tragedy Romeo and Juliet comes to Ravenswatch for free. The doomed lovers add a pair of new playable heroes and a dark twist on an iconic story across Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.
Players picking up the roguelike action will find a new way to play and fight back the Nightmare today. The Romeo and Juliet DLC adds in two familiar characters with a few changes. Like all the heroes in Ravenswatch, this couple have a familiar origin. After Romeo’s suicide, Juliet – rather than join him in death – makes a deal with Baba Yaga to bring him back among the living. This is not without consequences, as the two lovers are now bound for life… in death.
In game, this means they live and die together. Romeo’s death signals the end for Juliet. In life, however, you’ll be able to swap places, synergizing skills and attacks to devastate enemies. Wreak havoc on the battlefield with their ultimate skill Dance with Me, which inflicts heavy damage on any enemy they hit while waltzing and even play the two separately to focus on an individual playstyle. The DLC doesn’t just add these two faces. Players will find a host of fixes, multiplayer scaling balancing, talent balancing, and more. New Steam achievements arrive today too, and a range of new paid skins for the lovers.
