Sci-Fi Deckbuilding Eldritch Horror Heads Into Starless Abyss today

No more robots release Starless Abyss today, a wonderfully weird mix of sci-fi and monster horror.

Earth has fallen, the Eldritch are coming, and the universe is at stake. No More Robots and indie studio Konafa Games pit science and the Occult against a monumental threat when their new adventure arrives today. Players launching into the unrelenting vacuum of outer space will face the oldest enemies and protect what’s left of humanity in a s turn-based, roguelike, intergalactic deck builder like you’ve never seen.

Play as one of many Proximae used to help defend humanity. Use unique skills to command a fleet of ships as they face a range of turn based threat. Face off against formidable foes and build a deck to unleash destruction on the Eldritch. Six factions of cards deal out a range of capabilities, which can be combined and mixed to your own playstyle. Pick wisely and survive long enough to upgrade your fleet and embrace the power of the occult to play powerful ritual cards. End the alien threat by defeating the Outer Gods and rerun all over again.

There’s something intriguing about this wild mix of themes and ideas that make this all a little bit pulp sci-fi, a smidge DOOM inspired, and a lot like roguelike chaos. You can check out the new adventure over on the official Starless Abyss Steam Store page and face the horror from today.
