Sea of Stars gets a new character, quests, and more in the free Throes of the Watchmaker DLC.
Sabotage Studio announced the launch date for the new Sea of Stars’ Throes of the Watchmaker DLC. Players can return to this magical RPG and adventure again on 20 May 2025. Due to arrive across PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, the new DLC brings a new playable character, a gorgeous backdrop, and a new journey for the Solstice Warriors.
This new adventure returns to a familiar face, the genius inventor known as the Watchmaker, architect of the Clockwork Castle. A well-known name in this realm, and the mind behind tabletop pastime Wheels, the Watchmaker brings a new invention to screens. The miniature clockwork world of Horloge is more than a mechanical marvel, however. It’s an intriguing new landscape. Threatened by a cursed carnival, the town can only be saved by Zale and Valere. These two protagonists must adapt to Horloge’s peculiar rules to fully realize their mastery of Sun and Moon powers; the abilities they’ve refined since the beginning of Sea of Stars’ central journey to stop the Fleshmancer with Eclipse Magic.
There’s a new progression loop featuring completely new classes, skills and combos to master. Players will be able to swap their signature skills to become a become a skilful juggler or a dexterous acrobat. Explore new areas, complete new puzzles, and explore a meaningful new tale in this epic RPG.
