The game received its second major content expansion, the Rescue update. It adds new missions, a vessel editor that lets players customize their ships, and further gameplay improvements.
Two new vessels are now available: Salvation and Grace. Grace is a special addition, as it serves as the daughter boat of Salvation, a modern sea rescue cruiser measuring 46 meters (151 ft) in length. Alongside this, the Rescue Update introduces additional new missions in the Tide Guard career, focusing on safety on the waters of Seafarer: The Ship Sim.
