Serafim Launches S3 Universal Mobile Game Controller With Apple MFi Certification

Serafim has introduced its newest mobile gaming accessory, the Serafim S3 Universal Mobile Game Controller, a cross-platform controller designed to turn smartphones into a portable gaming system. The controller is available now for $89.99 through Amazon and the Serafim website with worldwide shipping.

One of the headline features of the S3 is its official Apple MFi certification, ensuring compatibility with modern iOS devices. The controller includes Apple’s authentication chip and is designed to work with supported devices, including the iPhone 15 and newer models. The controller also supports a wide range of other platforms, including Android 10 and later, Windows PCs, macOS, and PlayStation Remote Play setups.

Unlike many mobile controllers that rely on wireless connections, the S3 uses a direct USB-C connection. Serafim says the wired approach can deliver latency up to 100 times faster than Bluetooth controllers, allowing for more responsive inputs in competitive games. The hardware itself features dual Hall Effect joysticks and analog triggers, which use magnetic sensors instead of traditional mechanical components. This design helps eliminate joystick drift while improving long-term durability. According to Serafim, the controller is built for demanding mobile titles such as Call of Duty: Mobile, Genshin Impact, Fortnite, and Roblox.

Comfort is another focus of the design. The S3 weighs roughly 143 grams and includes two pairs of interchangeable grips, allowing players to swap between four grip pieces to better fit different hand sizes. The adjustable controller frame supports smartphones up to 17.9 cm in length and can accommodate devices with cases up to 3 mm thick. Additional features include passthrough charging so users can power their phone while playing, as well as a built-in 3.5 mm headphone jack for wired audio during gaming sessions.

The controller also integrates with the Serafim Console App, which serves as a hub for discovering compatible games and managing gameplay features. The app includes tools for recording gameplay, capturing screenshots, editing clips, and sharing content directly to social platforms. Players can also stream gameplay with one-click broadcasting to Twitch. Through the app, users can also access major cloud and remote gaming platforms, including Xbox Game Pass, Steam, GeForce NOW, Amazon Luna, and PS Remote Play.

To mark the launch, Serafim is running a limited-time promotion tied to Fallout 76. Customers who purchase the S3 during the promotion will receive a complimentary game code for the title, allowing players to jump into Bethesda’s post-apocalyptic world using the controller.

By combining console-style controls, streaming tools, and multi-platform compatibility, Serafim says the S3 is designed to deliver a complete mobile gaming ecosystem that supports both gameplay and content creation.
