YS NET has shared a first look at the remastered version of the action-adventure Shenmue III. After the announcement half a year before, there were no major news on the project. However, now the developers are finally ready to show how the game looks like. The video features environment showcase, accompanied by the comments of project lead Yu Suzuki.
Shenmue III Enhanced invites players back into the legendary world, enchanted by modern technologies. The game offers a story driven experience, focused on the characters daily life. The story follows Ryo Hazuki, who investigates mysterious events. The world operates on its own rhythm. NPCs follow daily routines, weather shifts dynamically, and countless optional activities contribute to an environment that feels authentic and alive.

- Graphics and Performance: Improved overall visuals and performance. Textures upscaled to 4K. Support for DLSS and FSR upscaling technologies.
- NPC Density: Increased number of NPCs present in locations for a livelier world.
- Camera Mode: Additional camera mode inspired by Shenmue and Shenmue II.
- Gameplay Adjustments: Additional stamina system settings, health regeneration before battles, and lowered cost barriers for a smoother experience.
