Shooter The Ward is Finally Coming to PC

After nearly twenty years, the horror shooter The Ward is coming to PC. Since original release back in 2007 on Nintendo DS, the game was ported to Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4/5. However, only now it comes to PC (Steam) under the title Dementium: The Ward. The classic DS horror reborn starts on 27 October 2025.

Dementium: The Ward takes players to the abandoned hospital, where they wake up with no memory of how they got there. A chilling mystery is unraveling within these walls, but there is no time to look for the truth. The main goal there is to survive. Every flicker of light, every sound in the darkness mean that grotesque creature are nearby. However, there is no other weapon but the wits and random object to fight them.

The game saved the original groundbreaking experience from Nintendo DS, reborn for the new generation. The renown version brings enchanted 4K graphics, amplifying the dreadful, disturbing atmosphere the players loved the original for. The game features different Display Modes:

  • Retro (240P)
  • Retro CRT (240P with CRT scan-lines)

Moreover, the PC version promises a smoother controls and game experience.
