Nightdive Studios and Atari have released a free demo for SiN: Reloaded as part of Steam Next Fest. Earlier the developers presented a gameplay trailer, showing off the gameplay and the changes remaster brings to the table. The demo version will be available through June 22. Moreover, the demo version has received a first patch, fixing all known bugs and issues.
SiN: Reloaded is a remastered version of the 1998 story-driven FPS. Originally built on the Quake II Engine, the game features a campaign with a devastating arsenal of weapons, horrific enemies, and memorable characters. SiN is considered one of the defining “boomer shooters” of its era. Remaster offers a graphics upgrade along with completely overhauled control schemes.
Players enter a dystopian world as Colonel John R. Blade, a security consultant. Their enemy becomes Doctor Elexis Sinclaire, who distributes a DNA-altering drug on the streets. Blade must stop Sinclaire and the army of genetically-engineered mutants.
