Snakebyte Rolls Out Second Wave Of Switch 2 Accessories

Snakebyte is wasting no time gearing up for the Switch 2 era. The longtime accessory maker announced today that its second wave of Nintendo Switch 2 accessories is officially shipping worldwide, bringing new controllers, charging solutions, and comfort grips designed specifically for Nintendo’s next-gen handheld hybrid. If you just picked up the system (or grabbed Walmart’s discounted Switch 2 bundle), this lineup looks like an easy way to round out your setup without draining your wallet.

The headline additions are a pair of new wireless gamepads, both using Hall-Effect thumbsticks, a welcome upgrade that helps eliminate the dreaded stick drift problem that plagued the original Switch generation. The Gamepad RGB S2 ($49.99) leads the charge with a translucent shell, customizable RGB lighting, tactile rumble, and dual programmable back buttons. It also supports in-game chat via a built-in C-Button and a 3.5 mm headphone jack, giving it parity with first-party controllers at a lower price point.

Sitting just below it, the Gamepad S2 ($44.99) offers the same Hall-Effect sticks, rumble, and programmable buttons, with a reduced lighting package for those who prefer fewer bells, whistles, and glow. Both controllers charge through USB-C and are available in multiple colors.

For handheld players, Snakebyte is shipping the Ergo Grip S2 ($19.99), a rubber-clad comfort shell that slots around Joy-Con 2 controllers. The textured grips are aimed at marathon sessions, smoothing out the Switch 2’s flat handheld profile and easing long-term strain. It also includes LED indicators for player number and charge status, a small addition that makes couch multiplayer a bit less chaotic.

Rounding out the wave is the Quad Charge S2 ($29.99), an RGB-lit dock that charges up to four Joy-Con 2 controllers at once. Each slot has its own LED indicator, and the slide-in design means you won’t be wrestling with rails or alignment. It’s an easy win for families or anyone who hosts regular Mario Kart nights.

These new items join Snakebyte’s growing Switch 2 lineup, including its Core headset, charging docks, fast-charging cables, and full starter kits. According to Snakebyte product manager Sami Murad, the goal is to bring premium-feeling accessories to Switch 2 owners without premium pricing. Murad emphasized that the company’s recent strides in quality are helping the brand stand out from competitors as players begin investing in new hardware for Nintendo’s latest console.

All accessories are covered by a two-year warranty and are available now. You can browse the full lineup at Snakebyte’s official Switch 2 collection page.
