Don’t get caught! That’s the goal for Heimerdinger and Ekko in the latest clip from Netflix’s upcoming Arcane Season 2. While the teaser is barely more than a minute, it follows the two genius inventors as they appear to be sneaking back into Heimerdinger’s own laboratory. Offering a light-hearted glimpse at the character chemistry, it doesn’t detail the reason that the two are shuffling around a maintenance corridor and making up codewords.
The scene, which you can watch above, happens after the end of the inaugural Arcane series. Heimerdinger has since left the governing council of Piltover and settled in among the people of the wider world. This is only the most recent reveal for the Arcane follow up. We already have another trailer from Netflix, and the hype train is already on track for some impressive viewing numbers. Following the characters of wildly popular video game series League of legends, the animated spin off attracted critical acclaim when it originally launched on Netflix.
