Eight years in the making, Songs of Glimmerwick is officially out now. To celebrate this day, Eastshade Studios prepared a special video with an honest explanation of the gameplay and game experience. The developers want players to know exactly what they can expect from the game and see how it feels before buying. However, for those who want to test the game firsthand and decide without outside influence, the demo remains available on Steam.
In this woodland fantasy RPG, playing music is the secret to casting spells. Ancient songs make garden work a breeze, and they’re also key to exploring every corner of the island. Players take on the role of a student, freshly enrolled at the Glimmerwick University of Magic. With a trusty flute and songbook at your side, you’ll attend classes and join after-school clubs. Along with new friends, players can uncover Glimmerwick’s many oddities and mysteries, enjoy festivals, curses, and witchy hijinks
