RedOctane Games is continuing its slow roll reveal of the Stage Tour setlist, this time adding three songs that could not be much further apart on the rhythm game spectrum without one of them being a polka medley. The latest Stage Tour setlist update brings In the Stars by The Rolling Stones, All Star by Smash Mouth, and Starlight by Muse to the upcoming five-fret rhythm game. With the additions, Stage Tour now has 25 officially confirmed songs ahead of its planned 2026 release.
For longtime rhythm game players, the three-track drop is also a useful indication of the direction RedOctane is taking with the soundtrack. The game already has metal, pop-punk, alternative rock, classic rock, hard rock, and a healthy amount of material that seems designed to test expert-difficulty players. Adding the Stones, Smash Mouth, and Muse gives the lineup three broadly recognizable rock songs from different eras, each with plenty of potential for memorable guitar charts.
All Star is probably the most immediately familiar addition, having survived decades of memes, movie soundtracks, sporting events, and general cultural overexposure. That does not mean it will not be fun to play. Its instantly recognizable opening, punchy chord progression, and sing-along chorus should make it an easy pick for casual sessions and parties. Muse’s Starlight is likely the more interesting selection for players who want a big, dramatic rock track with a driving bassline and soaring vocals. In the Stars, meanwhile, is a newer Rolling Stones cut from the band’s 2023 album Hackney Diamonds, giving the setlist a less predictable choice than the usual parade of Satisfaction and Paint It, Black.
The confirmed Stage Tour set list now includes tracks from artists such as Ghost, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Weezer, Paramore, Rise Against, Slipknot, Mastodon, The Cure, Radiohead, and Bad Omens. It is a varied early list, and RedOctane says more reveals are coming before launch. The next batch of Stage Tour news is planned for gamescom in Cologne, Germany, which runs August 26 through August 30. Attendees will be able to try the latest build at Hall 10.1, Stand F061.
Stage Tour is targeting a 2026 release for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
