Stage Tour Set List Reveal #12 Includes Dream Theater, Arch Enemy, And Sylosis

Stage Tour has added three more songs to its launch setlist, and this week’s reveal is squarely for players who consider a modest guitar solo to be an act of personal restraint. With Stage Tour Set List Reveal 12, Dream Theater, Arch Enemy, and Sylosis join the rhythm game’s expanding roster, taking the confirmed total to 57 tracks ahead of its December 10 release.

The most immediately intimidating addition is Dream Theater’s “Under a Glass Moon,” taken from the band’s 1992 album Images and Words. The track is best known for John Petrucci’s long, technically demanding guitar solo, which should make it one of the more serious tests for players looking to prove they have mastered more than the basic strum-and-pray approach. Dream Theater has played the song live more than 580 times, so it is hardly an obscure deep cut, even if the average player’s fingers may wish it were.

Arch Enemy joins the setlist with “Handshake With Hell,” a melodic death metal cut from the group’s 2022 album Deceivers. The track brings fast riffing, harsh vocals, and enough lead-guitar work to give fans of heavier modern metal another reason to keep an eye on Stage Tour. Arch Enemy has 11 studio albums behind it, and this selection should fit comfortably beside the game’s existing tracks from Metallica, Megadeth, Mastodon, Slipknot, Ghost, and Static-X.

The third addition, Sylosis’ “The New Flesh,” marks the British metal band’s first appearance in a rhythm game. Released earlier this year, the song delivers a dense mix of thrash, melodic death metal, and progressive elements. That makes it a useful counterpoint to the classic-metal material already announced, while also helping Stage Tour avoid becoming a museum exhibit where every guitar riff has to be at least 30 years old to qualify.

The newly confirmed songs are:

  • “Under a Glass Moon” by Dream Theater
  • “Handshake With Hell” by Arch Enemy
  • “The New Flesh” by Sylosis

With 57 songs now public, Stage Tour has revealed well over half of its planned 90-track base setlist. The catalog already covers several decades and a surprisingly wide range of styles, from Avril Lavigne and Olivia Rodrigo to Blur, Sabaton, Tenacious D, and ZZ Top. The common thread appears to be whether a track can make a plastic guitar controller feel like a reasonable substitute for talent.

RedOctane will unveil the next batch of songs on October 7. Stage Tour launches December 10, with pre-orders for the game and hardware bundles available now.
