Star Trek Online: Unveiled brings 4 classic starships to console captains in the space faring MMORPG.
Star trek Online’s latest update has docked on Xbox and PlayStation. Arc Games and DECA Games announced that the 33rd season of strange new worlds is available to console players as of last night, and it adds 4 new starships that you might recognise. Players can follow PC explorers into the latest mystery, uncover the mystery of the Harmony, participate in new events, captain new ships, and reunite with Hugh.
The new update celebrates 15 years of Star Trek Online, adding in a new narrative episode called Axiom. In it, players will fight against a new and far more sinister Borg incursion taking place in the Ram Izad system. Featuring a call for help from Hugh, played by Jonathan Del Arco, things will star to unravel after a stricken vessel some familiar names, and the mystery of The Harmony grows. You’ll also get the chance to participate in a limited-time 15th Anniversary event to earn rewards including a Garret Command Alliance Dreadnought Cruiser [T6], experience a new lock box: “Discovery: Partners In Crime” and more!
New Ships
A New ship bundle also adds a exclusive variants and four new starships inspired by the classic era of Star Trek films. Picked form the first 1979 movie right through to the Undiscovered Country , the ships and goodies found in the new bundle include:
- Pioneer II Pilot Heavy Frigate [T6] – Also available to purchase separately
“T6” version of a STO-original starship design introduced in the game’s Star Trek: The Original Series themed Agents of Yesterday expansion.
Also includes a bonus Star Trek Online era-inspired “Plymouth” variant
- Ark Royal Intel Carrier [T6] – Also available to purchase separately
Originally appearing in the classic Star Trek video game Starfleet Command II (2000), the Ark Royal is a massive Starfleet carrier that can launch fighters and shuttlecraft.
Includes the bonus “Kitty Hawk” visual variant, reimagining the ship in a style inspired by starships from Star Trek: Picard.
Includes a brand-new hangar pet item, the Type 4 shuttlecraft originally seen in Star Trek V: The Final Frontier.
- Kerala Temporal Battlecruiser [T6] – Also available to purchase separately
A “TMP style” reinterpretation of the popular “Shepard” class starship from Star Trek: Discovery.
Includes access to both the Shepard and Gagarin visual variants.
- Shangri-La Command Warship [T6] – Also available to purchase separately
Designed by the legendary Starship artist Bill Krause, the Shangri-La was canonized in Star Trek: Picard. Now this powerful starship comes to STO.
