The developers from Epictellers are back with a new video for the upcoming Starfinder: Afterlight. Prepare for almost 4-minute pre-alpha footage, recently features on New Game Showcase. This small slice of the sci-fi CRPG comes with the developer commentary, as they dive into dialogue, voice over, and combat.
Players will be able to build their hero from scratch, choosing among seven ancestries (Android, Human, Kasatha, Lashunta, Shirren, Vesk, Ysoki) and six classes (Envoy, Mystic, Operative, Solarian, Soldier, Witchwarper). The game also features turn-based tactical combat, using Paizo’s three-action system.
The developers boast a branching narrative where your choices matter. Nothing is forbidden, but everything has consequences. Factions remember your deeds, companions judge your decisions. Your legend is yours to write.
