Starlight Knight EP, Shining Promise in the Sky of Dawn, calls on some superhero support for April Fools.
While the latest Trigger character teaser might be on the serious side for today, HoYoverse hasn’t forgotten to have a little fun with the residents of New Eridu. The Starlight Knights got their own musical EP today, just for funsies! The new musical video dropped this morning and it’s an ode to the Super Sentai of Japan’s earlier decades, visuals and all!
A full four minutes of Japanese lounge pop, is accompanied by visuals featuring the iconic Starlight Knights! This fictional homage to Super Sentai rangers are a staple part of New Eridu, featuring heavily in the background, in the Twin’s video store, and in Billy’s head. It’s unlikely to make any meaningful impact on the wider world of Zenless Zone Zero. At least we think you shouldn’t expect these fictional TV stars in a fictional game to make it any further out into the real world.
