Team17 have announced that Sunday Gold is coming to PC on 13 September.
Sunday Gold, the beautifully brutal dystopian adventure from Team17 and BKOM Studios is set to come crashing onto PCs on 13 September. Featuring aesthetics ripped straight out of a dark comic book dystopia, turn based combat, and some head scratching puzzles, Sunday Gold brings its own unique identity to classic point and click concepts.
Set in 2070, this gritty tale follows Frank (aka ‘The Vengeful Ex-Con’), Sally (aka ‘The Activist’), and Gavin (aka ‘The Disgruntled Ex-Employee’) as they take on mysterious billionaire CEO Kenny Hogan. In order to uncover the truth behind a shady mega corp and its machinations, player will swap control between these three loose cannons. Each come with their own talents, customizations, and skills, which are curial to overcome the guards, mini games, and observational obstacles that await.
Play The Prologue
Players picking up Sunday Gold won’t need to take on this new job blind. The release date for the game that we previewed back in July, comes alongside news that players can partake in a free Prologue in the interim. Players who are ready to jump into the grimy underworld of 2070 and take down a heartless corporate CEO can sample the not so far future of London town by clicking through to the Steam Store and downloading the opening chapters at no cost. In it, you’ll get a first glance at a world where ethical considerations are stretched to their limits, unemployment runs rampant, and poverty is at an all time high. If you loved Disco Elysium and are up for a similar twist on more established narrative puzzlers, then head over to the official Steam Store page to find out more.
