Town building survival adventure Bellwright has arrived in Early Access today.
Donkey Crew and Snail Inc have opened the doors to a medieval tale of gritty survival and evil empires. The long awaited Bellwright is now available in Early Access, via Steam. Starting at $29.99 USD, or regional equivalent, players looking to tour the picturesque lakeside villages and bustling communes of this old school adventure can head to the official Steam Store page for a launch discount too.
While the Unreal 5 engine ensures beautiful backdrops, this hardly a leisurely walk in the park. The dense woodland hides many dangers, and if players can survive to find shelter, then the wild outdoors aren’t’ all that awaits. The open world plays host to a feudal existence under a tyrannical monarch. After being wrongfully accused of regicide, players will take on the role of our hero, either solo or co-op. Gather resources, build a town, and forge alliances. As you explore a rich story quest, improvements to tech and trade allow players to develop an army. Spilling out from resource management, combat takes the entire concept in a new direction, fending off bandits and taking the siege to the Queen.
