Twin Sails Interactive and Saber Interactive have announced that the critically acclaimed tactical RPG, Gloomhaven, is coming to consoles on September 18th. Starting September 8th, players can take on the dark fantasy universe on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. The game’s console version will contain all the content found in the previously-released PC and Mac versions.
Developers are keen to celebrate the big news, so they have released an all-new trailer. Viewers can get a very brief peek at locations, gameplay, and features.

Developers also revealed preorder editions, contents, and pricing as part of the announcement.
- Mercenaries Edition – $35.99 – This version includes the base game and the Solo Scenarios: Mercenary Challenges DLC
- Gold Edition – $44.99 – This version includes the base game, Solo Mercenaries DLC, the Jaws of the Lion DLC, and four skins
- Physical Mercenaries Edition – $39.99 – This version includes the same as the digital Mercenaries Edition as well as one of six collectible cards. This edition is only available on PlayStation and Switch.
DLC
- The “Solo Scenarios: Mercenary Challenges” DLC is a digital adaptation of Isaac Childres’ board game expansion. It has been refined and rebalanced for digital play. This second DLC offers 17 deadly Solo Scenarios and 17 unique items. Each is designed for one specific mercenary. Featuring 20 hours of bonus content, this DLC creates a punishing challenge for experienced players to truly prove their skills.
- “Jaws of the Lion” is the first content expansion and includes four new mercenaries, new enemies, 22 new city events, 10 new items, 24 new battle goals, 25 scenariosand more. It delivers over 30 hours of new content that takes players to the undercity of Gloomhaven.
