Developers from Questline and publisher Awaken Realms have announced the long awaited expansion for the Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon. Sanctuary of Sarras comes already next week and promises to bring new stories of the Avalon heroes, along with the new location and content. Moreover, the expansion for the dark fantasy RPG comes live next week on the 15th of December. For this occasion, the developers team presented a new trailer and shared some news about the update that comes along with the expansion.
Patch 1.15 Key Updates
- Performance: Major FPS boost on Xbox (~20+). Smaller gains on Steam Deck & PS5. General optimizations for older PCs.
- New Items: Restored several missing items, including the Phantom Helmet.
- Convenience: Access your stash from the boosted fireplace.
- Fixes: Resolved quest tracking issues and blockers in Hollow Blessings and Price of Healing. Fixed DualSense controller detection.
- UI: Added toggles for visual effects and a font selector. Optimized UI performance.
- Audio: Fixed loudness issues for many character voices.
- Misc: Added visual indicators for status effects on the HP bar.

Sanctuary of Sarras Details
The Expansion brings players to an ancient realm of the deep sea, where forgotten paths and abandoned buildings hide dark secrets. The brand-new story offers to uncover the six-century-old mystery behind Nimue, King Arthur’s deserters, and Merlin’s terrible retribution
- A New Adventure: 10–15 hours of new story content with multiple side quests.
- New Content: 4 epic bosses, 12 unique enemies, and over 20 hand-crafted dungeons.
- Arsenal: More than 100 new equipment pieces, including armor, weapons, spells, and relics.
- Progression: A new alternate progression system with three distinct skill trees.
However, that’s not all. The Developers prepared the Free Content Update for All Players
- Fore-Dweller Armor: Unlocked by completing the quest “I See A Darkness”.
- Champion Armor: Earned by defeating the Wyrdstalker.
- Harbinger Armor: Awarded upon finishing the quest “Thing On The Doorstep”.
- Weaver Armor: Obtained by resolving the mysterious encounters with the Weaver.
- Unhallowed Divinity Armor: Unlocked by completing the “Menhir Rites” quest.
