Find Fable Inspired RPG Mirthwood Ready to Adventure on 11 September
V Publishing and two-man indie studio Bad Ridge Games have announced that adorable indie RPG V Publishing in partnership with two-man indie studio Bad Ridge Games is coming to PC in September 2024. The Fable inspired fable just got a new trailer alongside the announcement, and we’re eager to trek out into this cozy creation.
Featuring a village full of gardeners, warriors, explorers and more this upcoming RPG allows adventurers to play their way. Navigating an enchanting journey, you could join the adventurer’s guild and abandon city living or live a life of farming and trade in comfort. There’s a main tale of heroism, tons of side quests, and random interactions all scattered throughout the world to keep players busy. Mixing social life sims and exploratory adventures isn’t entirely new, and we can see the from the likes of Stardew Valley or Story of Seasons. Despite those familiar ideas, there’s a level of player agency to this title that might make it worth a look later in the year.

Sure, the social side of this RPG isn’t as as outlandish as Date Everything, but Mirthwood still has our attention, and there’s a free demo over on the official Steam Store page for anybody looking to check what the neighbours are like before putting any money down.
