Bandai Namco and D.A.G studio presented an announcement trailer for the Tales of Berseria remaster. Released back in 2016, the JRPG from a cult Tales of series swiftly won the hearts of the players. Now the remastered version promises to bring back the familiar characters and allow reliving the familiar story in new quality. The trailer already reveals a release date, set for 26 February 2026 in Japan and 27 February worldwide.
The remastered Tales of Berseria will feature improved graphics, gameplay optimizations and enchanted quality of life. For example, the players will be able to leave marks on the map or disable the random encounters for the exploration. The battle system becomes more dynamic, allowing to adjust skills and combos to the player’s style. The story won’t receive any changes. As in the original game, the main role belongs to Velvet Crowe as she walks the path of vengeance.
The game comes in two versions. Standard edition includes the main game content and Adventuring Assistance Set pre-purchase bonus. Delux Edition comes with the additional content, including Battle BGM Pack, Digital Artbook & Soundtrack and Super Growth Support Herb Set. Moreover, both editions include DLC content from the original game.
Tales of Berseria Remastered comes to PC (Steam), Xbox Series, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch.
