ACE Entertainment, the developers of cozy Yokai-themed adventure Tales of Seikyu, is back with another dev diary dedicated to the Tree of the Mountain God & Villager’s Homes. The game is currently available in Steam Early Access, with the team being hard at work on constant updates. The Dev Diaries serve as a look behind the scenes so that players can keep up with what the team is working on.
ACE Entertainment shared that the development of character customization UI and of new hairstyles is underway. For ranching, the team has implemented some new livestock actions as well as making sure the animals are behaving how they should.
The Tree of the Mountain God near the bamboo forest is getting a full landscape makeover. It will be a tranquil and scenic area, with beautiful bridges, cascading waterfalls and serene, still ponds to maybe dip your toes in on a bright summer’s day. There will also be a shrine to visit.
The local villagers’ houses also got an upgrade. In particular, the devs showed off the houses that belong to Musashi, Lilliana & Yohji, Torleone & Seabert. Sasaki’s home is coming along nicely, with a personal workshop in the back. The tinkerer himself got a redesign that you can find following the link above.
