Developer ACE Entertainment and publisher Fireshine Games are back with more details about the Yokai-themed adventure Tales of Seikyu. Following the system requirements for comfortable play, the team focuses on roadmap for 2025, containing the upcoming expansions and improvements.
Seikyu — an island haven hidden far from the human world — is a sanctuary full of Yokai residents who can freely express themselves in human form. Settle down in your homeland, help expand the town, and uncover the secrets of this island and your long-lost family. Using your Fox Clan heritage, shapeshift into magical Yokai forms to take care of your homestead and explore the world! Soar freely in the skies of Seikyu as the Crow Tengu, dive deep for sunken treasure as a slime, or till the ground of your farm as a boar.
The game arrives in Early Access on May 21. The game will be in ongoing development throughout the Early Access period, with the developers making updates to the game with bug fixes, optimizations, and new content:
- Ongoing Updates will be focused on bug-fixing and optimization, including community-reported bugs;
- Major Content Update 1 will introduce additional story quests and one new datable NPC. Players will also be able to enjoy additional heart events, Summer Festival, hotsprings, and more.
- Future updates will add additional datable NPCs, quests, customization and miscellaneous additions such as pets.
