Coming from Filiokus Games, Talystro is a single player roguelite dice- and deck-builder where all cards have to be activated by dice to gain an effect. The game is highly skill-based and requires that the player combines logic, creative problem-solving and strategic use of the resources at hand.
The Necrodicer has begun the ritual of Talystro, and are pouring twisted and corrupted beings into this world in the form of numbers. Each combat encounter you’ll face multiple of these foul beasts, and it’s up to you to determine how to best deal with them and in what order!
Throughout a run, the player will need to enhance their deck, and the character’s abilities, to be able to solve the puzzles yet to come. The game is currently in development for PC via Steam, with the Steam demo to be launched soon.
“Talystro is built on our belief that mathematics is fundamentally creative,” said Filiokus. “Games are works of art powered by math, and with Talystro we wanted to bring that connection to the forefront. By combining probability-driven systems with strategic arithmetic, we’re inviting players to experiment, adapt, and discover the beauty of problem-solving through play.”
