Archetype’s upcoming adventure in a foreign corner of the galaxy just got a little stranger today. The developers behind this intriguing sci-fi epic introduced a new familiar for fans of everything Edgar Allan Poe, the Awakened Raven. Much like other recent reveals, these animals of old earth are a totally different flock out in space, but C.C. Orlev is able to explain.
Once a common sight in our sky, these highly capable problem solvers were not merely shipped out across the galaxy to explore the skies. Like so many things, these enhanced animals didn’t exactly turn out as expected. Humanity’s propensity to destroy became a problem that needed solving, and these aloof helpers saw to fix it. This chilling tale is just the latest update from Exodus. Initial announced during 2023, this upcoming epic has already got our Mass Effect fans hooked, with a prelude novel called The Archimedes Engine.
