Polyarc, the team behind the magnificent Moss series, are working on a new competitive VR multiplayer title and testers are required.
If you have your hands on a Quest 2 VR headset and feel like you’re ready to take on all comers in an explosive new adventure, then keep reading. The next title for this acclaimed VR developer is set o be a change of pace for the team, introducing a range of innovate ideas to the competitive scene that you just wouldn’t be able to do on a flat screen League of Legends.
“It’s apparent observing the community of players out there and receiving some of our own feedback that there are a lot of gamers in VR who are looking for and want to play more competitive multiplayer games,” said Tam Armstrong, co-founder and CEO, Polyarc.. “We are excited about this opportunity, as VR offers interesting considerations for multiplayer games. The ability to read the other player’s focus and intention as they move their head and hands are some of the elements that make playing games in person so compelling. We are looking forward to sharing what we’ve been working on and the fun we’ve been having playing it.”
We don’t know a ton about the new title, although we can expect a game that is at least as polished as Moss and Moss II. The illustrative artwork looks like it may even be steeped in that same universe with roguish rodents and armored gerbils. If the idea of trying out this upcoming adventure fills you with glee then Polyarc have opened up registration for US owners of the Meta Quest 2. As for the rest of us, we get to reap the rewards when the new game goes live in the future. Head over to the Polyarc website to sign up now.
