ZeniMax Online Studios and Bethesda have shared more details about The Elder Scrolls Online Class Mastery coming with Update 50 on June 8. New system allows players to further specialize their builds through passive abilities. Each of the seven classes gains access to a skill line with five new passives. Players receive two Class Mastery Points total and must choose which passives to activate based on their desired play style.
Prerequisites
- Level 50 in all three of the class’s skill lines
- Not actively using the Subclassing system (Class Mastery options are hidden while Subclassing is active)
Class Passives Summary
- Templar: Healing and Ultimate generation from Sacred Ground; damage shields; upgraded group buffs; increased block mitigation.
- Sorcerer: Resource restore; bonus damage based on Max resource; Shock damage procs; damage shields; group Recovery.
- Nightblade: Ultimate generation; damage scaling with target’s missing Health; increased Critical cap; dodge mechanics; group resource sharing.
- Dragonknight: Multiplicative damage/healing bonuses; Recovery per Ultimate spent; additional DoT effects; block Stamina restore; group Major Berserk/Protection.
- Warden: Major Brittle from Chilled; damage scaling with status effects; Major Heroism; damage reduction per status effect on attacker.
- Necromancer: Stacking Max Health and damage; corpse-consuming skills on non-player enemies; damage based on Health advantage; Health/Stamina restore on damage taken.
- Arcanist: Crux generation on Ultimate activation; bonus Weapon/Spell Damage; Major Force on heal/overheal.
