The developers of MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online took part in the 2026 Seasons Direct livestream to reveal the new content coming to the game this year, starting with Season Zero: Dawn and Dusk launching on April 2.
“The new age of The Elder Scrolls Online is about to begin! Discover new and more varied adventures and stories, enjoy new ways to earn rewards, and experience an ESO always evolving with player-focused additions, changes, and improvements. It all begins with Season Zero: Dawn and Dusk, live from April 2 until July 8, 2026.”
ESO Seasons will average 90-days in length, each featuring a unique theme and a wide variety of content and rewards. Season Zero will introduce a brand-new Event Zone, The Night Market, as well as player experience, combat, and PvP improvements alongside the long-requested Challenge Difficulty system. So don’t miss out – Season Zero kicks off on April 2 for PC and console players.
Players can look forward to the new Thieves Guild and Sheogorath story content, experimental naval combat, underwater exploration, and the teased return to Skyrim in the future Seasons.
Additionally, PlayStation Plus members can acquire the Gold Road Collection right now for free as part of the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for March. The Gold Road Collection features the ESO base game, 2024’s Gold Road Chapter, and all previous Chapters, including access to the Warden, Necromancer, and Arcanist classes. This offer is available until April 6.
