As a part of Season Zero, MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online presents the first limited-time event zone, Night Market. Located within the Oblivion realm of Fargrave (from the Deadlands DLC), the area features three dangerous districts: Sorrow’s Friend, the Skittering Precinct, and the Parch. Each district has unique traversal challenges such as sandstorms, grapple points, and the Baleful Darkness.
To access the even area players should travel to the Starlit Plaza (safe zone held jointly by all factions). There they can meet the Curator, complete the introductory quest, choose a faction, and begin exploring the three districts.
The Night Market will be available from April 29 to June 17, 2026.
Night Market Zone Overview
Factions
Three factions vie for control of the Night Market:
- Ruckus – spirited mortal champions
- Thousand Eyes – cunning spies
- Glittering Goad – ostentatious magnates
Players can join one faction per account (locked until the Night Market’s next return). Earning Favor unlocks faction merchant wares, decorations for the Night’s Den house, and other benefits. Faction choice does not prevent grouping with players from other factions.
Rewards
- Night’s Den house – free for completing the introductory quest. Features a treasure room that updates based on wealth and unlockable wings tied to district relic progress.
- Trade Bars – earned from defeating certain bosses
- Motifs, recipes, monster masks, antiquity leads, curated set gear, and more
- Golden Pursuits campaign – active while the event zone is open
Gameplay
The Night Market offers dungeon-level challenge but with a more social, dynamic environment. Multiple groups can coexist, interact, and assist each other. Activities include combat, exploration, races, puzzles, and quests. Group play is recommended.
