The Elder Scrolls Online is nearing the release of title Update 50. However, before the update goes live on the main servers, its new features must undergo some additional public testing. To accelerate the testing process and catch bugs early, the developers have prepared new content for the Public Test Server (PTS).
All players are invited to participate, help improve the game, and be among the first to access the update. Update 50 content is now available for testing on the Public Test Server (PTS) via the PC/Mac ESO launcher.
Features Available for Testing
- PvP Veterancy system
- New Challenge difficulty settings
- Updated Werewolf character models and skill line
- New story content
- Class Mastery skill lines
- First Dynamic World Events
Phased PTS Content Access
- Approximately one day after PTS opens: Thieves Guild story content and new Favors system
- Later in the PTS cycle: Additional story content focused on Daedric Prince Sheogorath
How to Join the PTS
To access the Public Test Server, navigate to the Settings menu within the PC/Mac ESO launcher and toggle the “Show Public Test Environment” option. Once enabled, you can download and enter the test environment. Be sure to leave feedback and report any bugs by typing “/feedback” or “/bug” in the chat window.
