Developer Owlcat Games shared the latest gameplay trailer for the upcoming third-person action RPG The Expanse: Osiris Reborn. Over a minute and a half of footage, you will see the female protagonist in action – exploring the area, talking to the NPCs, showing firsthand how dangerous zero gravity is, and fighting.
The developers state that they have been dreaming about building a sci-fi action RPG of this scale for a long time, and The Expanse is the perfect universe for that due to being grounded in realism and complexity, perfect for mature and character-driven narrative where your choices matter. The team also cites the original Mass Effect trilogy as being a huge inspiration.
In The Expanse: Osiris Reborn you are no here – you’re merely a Pinkwater Security merc with a shore leave that spirals out of control. Trapped in a deadly lockdown and drawn into a solar system-wide conspiracy far beyond your control, you’ll have to adapt, survive, taking command of the most advanced ship in the whole of the solar system.
