Fragpunk, the high energy FPS hero shooter, kicks off Closed Beta test today.
Get ready to take on yet another hero brawler with a twist. After Marvel Rivals superhero landed on the scene, Fragpunk is aiming to switch things up again. Players eager to find out how can try out the Closed Beta test today and get hands on with a new range of heroes and a different set of in game mechanics. Shooting onto Xbox and PC platforms today, it brings an energetic aesthetic, a unique card power mechanics, and explosive competition to desktops and big screens.
Originally announced earlier this year, the upcoming hero shooter has already had limited testing, giving players a hands on with the various characters ,weapons and powers that come to the arena as part of the upcoming action. While we don’t have a firm release date for Fragpunk quite yet, we do know that a range of Lancers will be available with a variety of playstyles. Fortify and defend, go all in a frontal assault, or use traps to eliminate the opposition in very different ways. Turning the tide of a match, Shard Cards elevate this experience beyond the traditional point and shoot.
Over 70 Shard Cards are available to play. These selections can change every round, creating new and unique combinations that create different matches every time! Cards can amplify your jump height, reverse the roles of attackers and defenders, engulf your bullets in flame or turn them into chain lightning, They can even resurrect you and your team! Things kick off today, with start times below. The new test lands across Xbox Series S, Series X and PC. A total of 5 new maps, meaning Shard Clash has a total of 6 backdrops and Deathmatch has 2. A couple of new characters, 2 new weapons, and a total of game modes will unlock to blow through.

Players who haven’t already got their Fragpunk Closed Beta test and aren’t busy in Valorant or the like can still request access.
