The Gamespace Game Of The Year 2021 Revealed

Gamespace Game Of The Year 2021

Here at Gamespace, we’ve been preparing for the end of the year. The Halloween decorations are out, the Santa trap is just about rigged, and the numbers for our favorite game of 2021 are in.

Not so long ago we asked you and our staff to put your vote forward for our Gamespace Game of the year 2021. We picked the top-rated titles that we reviewed, to pick our game. Yes, that means some slots might be empty and a few of our personal choices might be out of the running, but this is the Gamespace Game of the Year after all. In total, we collected candidates from almost every genre, platform, and even sneaked in a few VR choices.

We asked you for your votes and split the call between you and our own elves, so everyone had an equal footing on this one. Honestly, we shouldn’t have bothered. The results were unanimous and we’re just about ready to reveal our game of 2021.

Drumroll, please. Our Gamespace Game of the Year 2021 is Jurassic World Evolution 2.

Jurassic World Evolution 2

Jurassic World Evolution 2

They say somehow life finds a way right? Well, this year it did. The prehistoric sandbox builder from Frontier games returned to the monumentally successful Jurassic Park franchise for another bite at the series and the follow-up to Jurassic World Evolution stomped all over the competition. The second in the Jurassic World Evolution line, this theme park sim with a chaotic edge allows players to build their own Jurassic Park, constructing cages and ushering in visitors from across the globe, all to meet your own selection of toothy exhibits. Set after the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, the game wowed us with a ridiculous level of dept, offering up more than amenities and gift shops to keep you entertained. The addition of dinosaur escapes, genetic research, staffing troubles, on top of the challenges that each individual biome presents makes Jurassic World Evolution 2 a game that really got its teeth into our staff and readers.

If you want to find out what all the excitement is about, you can read our Jurassic World Evolution 2 review here or pick up Jurassic World Evolution 2 on PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and Series S, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and PC. Find out more on the official website now. Thank you Frontier Games. Now, I wonder if we can breed a raptor small enough to be classed as a stocking filler?
