Developer HoYoverse is back with skill overview for the two upcoming characters: Odette (5-star Cryo Sword) and Alyosha (4-star Electro Polearm).
Odette is a renowned ballerina of Snezhnaya, but few know that she is also a member of the Fatui. On stage, she becomes countless people, yet she has never shown the world who she truly is. But is the real Odette hidden somewhere between her two identities, or does she exist beyond the divide between light and shadow?
Odette (5-star Cryo Sword)
Among the many new companions players can expect to meet in Snezhnaya, Odette, a 5-Star Cryo Sword wielder, is one of the first new playable characters. Though she is a Fatui operative working under La Signora, Odette’s skills as a highly trained assassin are nowhere as well-known as her skills as a celebrated Snezhnayan ballerina. In combat, Odette converts Superconduct and Cryo Swirl reactions into Stellar-Conduct and Stellar Swirl respectively while amplifying all Stellar Glimmer reaction DMG across the party.
Her Elemental Skill deploys a dance double that deals continuous AoE Cryo DMG and grants all party members a Stellar Glimmer reaction DMG Bonus. Using her Elemental Skill again draws Odette and her double into a brief duet, unleashing a burst of Cryo AoE DMG regarded as a Stellar Glimmer reaction. Her Elemental Burst deals multiple waves of AoE Cryo DMG and increases the Stellar Glimmer reaction DMG she deals.
Odette can trigger all current Stellar Glimmer reactions: Stellar-Conduct and Stellar Swirl.
Alyosha (4-star Electro Polearm)
Another new companion making their debut in this version is Alyosha, a Snezhnayan hunter who fights alongside his canine companion Tugarin. As a 4-Star Electro Polearm wielder, he provides the party with Stellar-Conduct DMG buffs, as well as restores HP to nearby party members on the battlefield. Players can get Alyosha for free as they advance through the new Archon Quest.
Alyosha is a versatile snowfield hunter who wields Electro and provides support to the party. Among other things, his buffs give Attack Increase, Stellar-Conduct Damage Boost, and Healing. He is a partner you can trust with yoru life. And his own most reliable partners are his hunting weapon, the rifle, and trusty canine companion Tugarin.
New Stellar Reaction: Stellar Swirl
Following the Stellar-Conduct Reaction introduced in Version Luna VIII, Version 7.0 will bring us a brand-new Stellar Glimmer Reaction: Stellar Swirl.
When Cryo is swept along by Anemo, or entwined by Electro… The original Cryo Swird/Superconduct reactions will be converted to Stellar Swirl/Stellar-Conduct, collectively known as Stellar Glimmer reactions. Note that it requires certain Snezhnaya characters (similar to how Lunar reactions required Nod-Krai’s) in order to trigger. At the moment, the characters in question are Sandrone, Odette and the Cryo Traveler.
After the Stellar Swirl reaction is triggered, a Stellar Vortex will be generated and automatically exploded after a period of time, dealing extra AoE Cryo damage. Additionally, the Vortex will become ever stronger a you keep on triggering Stellar Swirl reactions.
