Cell To Singularity, the idle game where you get to guide the course of evolutions, is celebrating the upcoming launch of the James Webb Telescope with a new series of in game events.
The most expensive telescope ever sent to space is set to launch off tomorrow, and despite a delay in getting things off the ground Cell To Singularity is launching its own in game events. Alongside the telescope’s launch, Cell To Singularity ignites its 14 day story-driven event. A glitch needs to be fixed in the Beyond simulation and every player must band together and collectively click on the glitched telescope before the deadline in order to successfully launch it into the beyond.
Alongside the extraterrestrial repair job that players will need to perform in this idle adventure, Cell to Singularity also announced a social contest to “Launch Your Own Satellite”. Participants are encouraged to design and submit their own original satellites to the development team in honor of the James Webb Space Telescope launch! If you’re not sure why we’re all so excited for these in game events and the impending launch of the James Webb Telescope, this space based telescope is the culmination of around a quarter of NASA’s budget for the last decade. The multi billion dollar instrument will allow the human race to peer back to the dawn of time. If you can’t wait that long then you can always guide the evolution of your civilizations with Cell To Singularity, available now for free on Steam, iOS, and Android,
