The Kintsugiyama team and the publisher Dreamhaven have revealed an FPS survival shooter, The Legend of California. Along with the announcement, the developers presented a first trailer, featuring gameplay elements and the stunning west wind aesthetics. The game plans to launch into Early Access sometime this year on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), but no clear release date has been confirmed yet.
Set during the gold rush era, The Legend of California transports players to the Island of California, a dangerous and untamed frontier where riches and survival are the ultimate prizes. Gameplay incorporates classic survival mechanics such as gathering, crafting, and base building. Players have the option to explore alone or form teams through multiplayer mode.
