During BlizzCon26, the devs were on hand to announce that StarCraft returns in 2030 with an original open-world shooter. There’s only one thing we can say: it’s about damn time.
The game development is controlled by Dan Hay, known for his work on Far Cry. The release is expected on PC and Xbox. Additionally, the upcoming game is not a direct sequel to StarCraft II, rather, the events are happening 70 years later in the Koprulu sector.
“THE SONS AND DAUGHTERS OF THE DOMINION ANSWERED THE CALL WHEN MANKIND NEEDED THEM MOST. THEIR COURAGE HELD THE LINE. THEIR SACRIFICE BOUGHT US ANOTHER DAY. NOW THE CALL COMES TO YOU. CARRY THEIR STRENGTH FORWARD. NO MATTER THE COST.”
At the moment, there is very little info about what is coming. So we can only suggest rewatching the trailer above and checking out the official site. For the Dominion!
