Chimera Entertainment has launched the Songs of Silence – Lighteaters DLC for its Art Nouveau-inspired strategy.

Gorgeous looking battlefield are set to see a new faction marching into action with the launch of Songs of Silence – Lighteaters. The new DLC for this indie strategy will launch on 20 February 2025 on PC via Steam & GOG, and adds a bunch of new ways to play in this work of art.

As the first paid update since the base campaign arrived in Early Access, this DLC expands Songs of Silence with a brand-new faction available in Skirmish and Multiplayer modes. After you’re done leading armies and rebuilding fallen kingdoms, leap into wield the power of the Lighteaters against your enemies and fiends. bring a range of new units out from the haunted regions of Irdheim and Sonnan. Stuck between life and death, their insatiable craving for the Hymn provides a range of new options for players:

  • 2 New Hero Archetypes
  • 6 New Hero Vocations
  • 8 New Units
  • 5 New Strategy Cards (including 1 new building upgrade)
  • 8 New Battle Cards
  • 1 New Unit Perk
  • 1 New Capital
  • Update 1.2

The new DLC drops around the same time as the upcoming Version 1.2update. This free addition adds a bunch of extras and bug fixes for eager generals. The headlines include a new scenario where the Lighteater faction turns on you. Fend off waves of these undead entitie4s and clear a range of new challenges. The Update includes even more to look forward to, including new achievements, new visual cues, balance changes, color option in skirmish mode, and more.
