Developer Maxis and publisher Electronic Arts are back with a new gameplay trailer for The Sims 4 Businesses & Hobbies, expected to arrive on March 6th. Get ready to pursue inspiring skills and meaningful businesses!
This newest expansion pack takes your Sims to Nordhaven, a town brimming with history and opportunity for crafty business owners and hobbyists alike. This historic town has daily Meetups for hobbies where your Sims can connect with those who share their interests, and maybe even find a Mentor. You can also grow your skills by attending Classes or Lectures, or you might want to host them yourself! Classes are goaled events that are run as part of a small business, which means you can earn Simoleons teaching any skill.
With the new Ticket Kiosk you can run the business you want, charging customers for entry or for time spent. Incorporate the new hobbies – Pottery and Tattooing – into your business, charge for lessons, or come up with something unique!
Additionally, for Sims who are just starting up their business or feel most inspired at home, you can build a Small Business on a Residential Lot and designate a dedicated space in their home to set up shop. You can also run their business on the new Small Business Venue Lot. As you grow your Sim’s business, you’ll earn the ability to choose Business Perks, which include new interactions, effects, and more.
