Developer Maxis and publisher Electronic Arts have presented the official gameplay trailer for Enchanted by Nature, the newest Expansion Pack arriving for The Sims 4. Mark your calendars, this magical adventure begins on July 10 on EA app, Epic Games Store and Steam, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One systems.
In the trailer above, you get a quick overview of what it means to be enchanted by nature: from a peaceful life outdoors to exploring enchantment and magic. Ready to flex your green thumb by naming and talking to your favorite buds? Or use a bit of fairy dust to ensure your plants survive on their own? Watch out for pixies though!
You can also fulfill your fantasy of becoming a Fairy, sprouting stunning wings, enjoying new customization, and developing new fantastical abilities. However, things are going to be different beyond turning green!
A kindly Fairy might improve a Sim’s luck, while one that’s feeling mischievous might bestow an Ailment. Fairies also produce Fairy Dust, which any Sim can use to enchant plants or bring Gnomes to life. Rather than living off food, Fairies absorb emotions to survive, either directly from other Sims or from bottled potions, so watch out for Emotional Starvation!
