Developer Maxis released the latest base game update for The Sims 4, adding next level Skin Details to the game. If you ever wanted your Sims to get more character with wrinkles, spots, stretch marks, and more, you are in luck!
It’s been over a year since the Vitiligo update, and Skin Details still are an important and meaningful part of how players express themselves in The Sims 4 and bring their ideas to life. The developers heard the community’s feedback about wanting more ways to reflect aging, skin variation, and lived experiences, and Skin Details is the result of it.
With the new update, you will have more options for variation than ever before. From new Wrinkles and Age Spots to reflect the aging process, to Rosacea, body Freckles and Stretch Marks – showcase your Sims story and watch it come to life. It is especially valid to get some more love for the elderly Sims.
Here are some things you can find inside:
- Wrinkles & Age Details. Wrinkles and Age Spots options have been added to Create-a-Sim, designed to help Elder Sims feel more unique and expressive. You can also find such options as Mouth Wrinkles and Eye Bags, as well as Age and Dark Spots for the cheeks and forehead.
- Stretch Marks for both the Upper and the Lower Body. These come in various options and are available in both light and dark tones.
- Freckles. New freckles for your Sim’s face and the entire body! All freckles come in light, medium, and heavy densities.
- Rosacea. Rosacea is also now available as a skin detail in Create-a-Sim. You can choose from three options that show different levels of redness and irritation.
