GrizzlyGames and Mythwright has announced a major new expansion for tower defense city builder Thronefall, alongside console launch news. The Craaghelm DLC brings a Dwarven-themed aesthetics and new gameplay elements into the game. Moreover, the DLC expands existting map roster, adds new weapon perks and units.
The DLC will launch on November 11, alongside console release on Xbox Series X|S, Game Pass, and PlayStation. Meanwhile, developers prepared The Royal Wardrobe update, already available for all players.
Craaghelm DLC Overview
- Conquer the Mountain: The last Dwarven King reclaoims the ancestral halls from mechanical Constructs.
- Explore New Territory: Eight themed maps. Moving platforms, lava streams, and blocked choke points demand adaptation.
- Gather Your Forces: New units including Axe Throwers, Airships and Automotons.
- Call Upon Ancient Heroes:The Technician, Siege Engineer, and Dwarven Spirit Warriors. New enemies including the Clockwork Oliphaunt, Loot Goblins, and Leap Bots.
- Discover New Tools: New weaponry including the Dragon’s Roar and Twin Bastions. New perks like spiked walls and healing hot springs.
- Master Your Strategy: New mutators including volcanic ash, boulders, and natural disasters for the ultimate challenge.
Upcoming Bug Fixes
- Freifort Quest B now correctly shows as completed.
- Towers targeting spawning enemies no longer get a massive attack speed boost from the ‘Power Tower’ perk.
- Bunker towers now respect attack cooldown when attacking spawning enemies.
- Buildings no longer stay permanently destroyed when using the ‘God of Destruction’ mutator.
- Fire Archers now correctly damage ground enemies after attacking flying enemies.
- Fixed an issue where players had no weapon after retrying the Tutorial and changing language.
- The ‘Heavy Sword’ active ability now plays its animation every time.
- Potion Vial VFX now displays on every use.
- Spiders no longer appear in Arachnophobia Mode model while disabled.
- Crossbowmen damage now displays correctly in unit stats.
- Units of the same type with different health values now display correctly.
- Colorblind mode text now updates to the selected language immediately.
