Eclipse Glow Games premiered a brand-new cinematic gameplay trailer for single-player action-adventure Tides of Annihilation. The premiere happened during gamescom’s Opening Night Live showcase in Cologne, Germany. The trailer offers a look at the emotional core of the game following the cataclysmic destruction of London.
Once again the developers reveal more crumbs about the protagonist, Gwendolyn, who mysteriously inherits the mystical power of King Arthur. Moreover, Eclipse Glow revealed many other details about the upcoming game.
A New Voice for a New Legend
In a major casting announcement, the developers also introduced Angela Sant’Albano as the new voice of Gwendolyn. The actress shared her excitement about stepping into the role:
“I am beyond thrilled—and deeply honored—to officially announce that I’m stepping into the role of Gwendolyn in Tides of Annihilation. Gwen is the kind of heroine I love. She carries self-doubt, constantly questioning whether she’s enough, but she refuses to let fear make her stand still. Everything she does is driven by love for her sister and her homeland, and I think that’s what makes her strength feel so human. Getting to step into her boots, facing otherworldly demigods, and commanding Knights of the Round Table has been an absolute privilege.”
Expanding Global Reach
Eclipse Glow Games also announced that Tides of Annihilation has added Brazilian Portuguese to its language lineup. In total the localization will support 11 languages: English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional, Korean, Russian, and Brazilian Portuguese. This move reflects the studio’s commitment to a full global launch.
