Bandai Namco is back with the newest trailer for the upcoming roguelite Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree. The minute-long animated short shows how dramatic the characters of the game are when coming face to face with something vile: bugs! Thankfully, they are not as frail on the battlefield, which is proven by the gameplay section.

Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree releases September 19th. In this Roguelite adventure set in a far-off mystic realm, ancient forces stir, and untold dangers await. You play as Towa, and it is up to you to lead the Guardians of the Sacred Tree to forge strong relationships and powerful weapons to fight against Magatsu’s forces.
Towa, the priestess of Shinju, will join forces with 8 companions to defeat Magatsu. Each Guardian has their own abilities and set of weapons, making each combat style unique. Explore far-off lands, guided by courage and Hitoshi Sakimoto’s melodies. Your actions will determine the fate of Shinju Village, as it evolves and grows over the years based on your actions.
