Trident’s Tale comes to PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox and PlayStation Platforms on 22 May
Indie studio 3DClouds is about to launch a high seas escapade for all ages, when Trident’s Tale launches worldwide on May 22nd, 2025, for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Epic Games Store, Steam and GOG). For the sum of £24.99 GBP / $24.99 USD / €24.99 EUR, you’ll be able to chase your swashbuckling dreams and complete an epic quest, no gold bullion needed.
Initially announced back in February, Trident’s Tale is a bright encounter in a world full of mystery. A compelling single player narrative plays out, sending an aspiring pirate, Ocean, out over the horizon to find the titular magical artifact and rescue her father from certain peril. Along the way, players will explore islands inhabited by charismatic locals, crawling with creepy monsters, and hiding lots of loot. Overcome problems, bash the odd skeleton, and solve puzzles to get past mythical creatures and sail home to victory.
It’s not all plain sailing on the sea, however. Only the most heroic of captains will I win out when danger comes over the horizon. Exciting ship vs. ship naval combat tops off this upcoming single player story driven RPG.
